My research interests include language documentation, morphosyntax, experimental linguistics, and the Japanese language. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Languages that I have worked on include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tagalog<\/strong> (tgl)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bugkalot\/Eg\u0313ongot <\/strong>(ilk)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pangasinan<\/strong> (pag)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keley-i<\/strong> (ify)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cuyonon<\/strong> (cyo)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I have also been part of collaborative language documentation projects with the <strong>Bugkalot\/Eg\u0313ongot<\/strong> (ilk), <strong>Kalanguya <\/strong>(kak), and<strong> Dumagat\/Remontado<\/strong> (agv) communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have recently finished the Japan Foundation&#8217;s 6-month Basic Training Program for Teachers of the Japanese Language which was done in Saitama Prefecture, Japan from September 2025 to February 2026.
